A timeless fairy tale of love, magic, and destiny, The Sleeping Beauty enchants audiences with sweeping romance and dazzling choreography.

At the christening of Princess Aurora, joy fills King Florestan’s court as benevolent fairies bestow gifts of beauty, grace, and kindness upon the newborn child. The celebration is shattered by the dramatic arrival of the wicked fairy Carabosse, enraged at not being invited. In vengeance, she casts a terrible curse: on her sixteenth birthday, Aurora will prick her finger on a spindle and die. Before despair takes hold, the compassionate Lilac Fairy intervenes, softening the curse. Aurora will not die, but instead fall into a deep sleep for one hundred years—awakened only by true love’s kiss.

Years later, at her sixteenth birthday celebration, Aurora is surrounded by admirers and suitors. Amid the festivities, a mysterious figure slips her a bouquet concealing a spindle. The curse is fulfilled, and Aurora collapses. As sorrow sweeps through the court, the Lilac Fairy casts a powerful spell, placing the entire kingdom under enchantment and cloaking the palace in a forest of thorns and blossoms.

A century passes. Prince Florimund, longing for an ideal love, encounters the Lilac Fairy, who reveals a vision of the sleeping princess. Captivated, he journeys through the enchanted forest to find her. With a kiss, he breaks the spell, awakening Aurora and restoring life to the kingdom.

The story culminates in a joyous wedding celebration, where beloved fairy-tale characters gather in a grand display of pageantry and dance. With love triumphant over darkness, Aurora and Florimund’s union ushers in harmony, hope, and a radiant future.
