Administration
JOB TITLE: Fitness Thru Dance Program Manager
DEPARTMENT: Education
REPORTS TO: Sr. Manager of Educational Operations
LOCATION: Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre, 600 N. Lake Formosa Drive, Orlando, FL 32803
POSITION STATUS: Full-Time, salaried, exempt
SCHEDULE: Antipicated schedule includes mornings/afternoons Saturdays and Sundays, and afternoons/evenings Mondays through Wednesdays
COMPENSATION: $48,000-50,000
BENEFITS: All standard in coordination with employee handbook
Basic Purpose and Objective of the Role:
Under the direction of the Sr. Manager of Educational Operations, the Fitness Thru Dance (FTD) Program Manager will be responsible for the enhancement and execution of the organization’s FTD offerings. This individual will also assist in the process of promoting, securing, and executing equipment and studio rentals at Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre. Orlando Ballet is seeking a driven, self-motivated highly organized individual, with the ability to manage data and a commitment to supporting Orlando Ballet in its mission to entertain, educate and enrich through the highest quality of dance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Program Operations & Administration
- Partner with the Sr. Manager of Educational Operations to design, implement, and continuously optimize registration systems for all FTD programs, leveraging third-party platforms to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Oversee end-to-end program administration, including enrollment, scheduling, attendance tracking, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and scalability across all offerings.
- Maintain and improve systems for class rosters, attendance tracking, and participant data to support operational insights and decision-making.
- Manage studio booking operations (private rentals and student use) via Mindbody, ensuring streamlined scheduling, accurate payment collection, and optimal studio utilization.
Client, Student & Faculty Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for FTD students, delivering high-quality support throughout the registration lifecycle and ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Act as liaison for faculty, managing scheduling, onboarding, and recruitment of instructors in partnership with the Director of Education.
- Coordinate scheduling across students, instructors, and studio resources to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.
Program Development & Revenue Growth
- Lead the development, launch, and ongoing management of a Corporate Wellness program, including strategy, client acquisition support, and program delivery.
- Collaborate with the Director of Education and Sr. Manager Educational Operations to research, develop, and scale new classes and offerings, balancing program quality with revenue and capacity optimization.
- Identify opportunities to expand program offerings, increase utilization, and drive incremental revenue across both educational and wellness programs.
Financial Oversight & Performance Tracking
- Partner with the Sr. Manager of Educational Operations and Finance to reconcile program revenue, track financial performance, and ensure accuracy of income reporting.
- Develop regular reporting on key metrics (enrollment, attendance, revenue, utilization) and provide forward-looking projections to inform strategic decisions.
- Monitor and optimize program performance against established growth and revenue targets.
Marketing & Program Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive awareness, enrollment, and retention across all FTD programs.
- Support campaigns, events, and partnerships that enhance program visibility and contribute to revenue goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the School Administrative Manager to ensure appropriate staffing and front desk coverage aligned with program schedules.
- Provide operational and administrative support for school initiatives, events, and special projects.
- Represent and promote FTD programs at company and school events as needed.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience in a marketing and/or promotions role
- Proven track record of providing superior customer service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong data analysis competencies
- A proven track record of ability to work independently, with great attention to detail, in a high-volume atmosphere under established time constraints
- Familiarity with Mac operating systems, basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), and experience working with sophisticated database systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a not-for-profit environment
- Knowledge of dance and fitness programs
- Experience working in MindBody database system

Production
JOB TITLE: Technical Director
DEPARTMENT: Production
REPORTS TO: Director of Production
LOCATION: This is an onsite job placement at Harriett’s Orlando Ballet Centre, 600 N. Lake Formosa Drive, Orlando, FL 32803
POSITION STATUS: Full-Time, salaried, exempt
COMPENSATION: $70,000-72,000, commensurate with experience
BENEFITS: All standard in coordination with employee handbook
Basic Purpose and Objective of the Role:
Under the direction of the Director of Production, the Technical Director is responsible for all technical production operations of all Orlando Ballet and Orlando Ballet School performances and engagements, including all special events for departments outside production. Orlando Ballet is seeking a driven, self-motivated highly organized individual, with a commitment to supporting Orlando Ballet in its mission to entertain, educate and enrich through the highest quality of dance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversight of all physical technical operations, including –
- Creation of appropriate production and technical paperwork for all Orlando Ballet engagements, including but not limited to:
- Ground plan & section
- Lineset schedule
- IA and non-IA Labor Calls
- Trucking schedules & packing manifests
- Any and all relevant support documentation
- Hands-on fabrication of all scenic, prop, and electrical practical assets as required; produce all relevant technical drawings
- Coordinate all production equipment logistics; Drive trucks as required (non CDL)
- Oversee warehousing and storage of all production assets
- Responsible for all logistical aspects of Orlando Ballet asset rentals. Attend and supervise installations as required
- Actively manage the installation, focus, programming, and operation of lighting equipment in Orlando Ballet’s studio spaces as necessary
- Actively manage the installation, use, and storage of Orlando Ballet’s audio and video recording and playback systems
- Oversee the maintenance of Orlando Ballet scenic and prop inventories, both owned and rented, with all required documentation
- Building and maintenance of all logistics gear (road boxes)
- When time allows, the building of outside projects in the shop
- Additional related duties as assigned by the Director of Production.
- Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct and supervise all crews in the ballet’s warehouse and shop, as well as all other ballet locations
- Direct and supervise all stage crew in the theatre and on tour, with a direct focus on scenery & rigging.
- Fiscal Responsibilities:
- Provide research and analysis to aid in the development of the annual production budget
- Maintain expense budget within boundaries of project budgets.
- Responsible for monthly reporting of all expenditures, providing support documentation.
- Track and report timecards for casual labor, both IA and independent contractor
- Interface with Director of Production to provide cost/ feasibility analysis for new scenic designs/projects
- Bid projects beyond the scope of Orlando Ballet’s Shop to outside crafts people/artisans or shops
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill in all areas of scenic and prop construction (carpentry, metal work, foam, textile, scenic painting, electrical, etc.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in stage electrics including automated lighting and ETC light console programming
- Strong knowledge of video cameras and associated A/V equipment for recording, playback (live and recorded), and live stream purposes
- Computer proficient (Windows and Mac), including drafting (Vectorworks) and audio/video editing & playback software (Qlab)
- Demonstrated proficiency in general stage operations, including load-in, rehearsals, and show run
- Experience directing crews of varying skill levels and experience (including IA)
- Ability to drive trucks up to 26’ in length
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- Certified for adult and pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED (or be willing to get certified)
