Designed for ballet students who are preparing to begin pointe work. Focused on building the strength, alignment, and technique necessary for dancing en pointe, this class emphasizes proper body placement, core stability, ankle strength, and turnout. Dancers will work through targeted exercises both at the barre and in center, with attention to articulation of the feet, balance, and control. Enrollment does not guarantee progression to pointe shoes, as individual readiness is evaluated by the instructor and/or Director of Education.

This beginner ballet class is perfect for teens looking to learn ballet technique in a nurturing and entry level environment. Student’s will learn the basics of ballet exercises and terminology while having fun and developing their technique.

No placement required, students should have at least 1 year of ballet experience. Enroll at anytime, open to ages 11-18.
