OBII is the highest level of Orlando Ballet School, bridging the Trainee Program and the professional company. Dancers receive a full tuition scholarship and stipend, train intensively and perform in both school productions and company repertoire. With two-thirds of the current company as OBII alumni, the program offers a vital pathway for young dancers to advance their training and build professional experience.

Orlando Ballet School Second Company
Admission to Orlando Ballet’s Second Company program is by audition only for dancers ages 16 to 21. Candidates may audition during the Summer Intensive audition tour, company audition tour, or submit a video audition. Final placement and scholarship decisions are made by the Artistic Director and Director of Education, with results communicated by mid to late July.
OBII dancers receive full tuition scholarships and stipends to support their training. The program provides advanced training alongside the professional company, performance opportunities in both school productions and company repertoire and community outreach engagements reaching over 50,000 local residents annually. With two-thirds of the professional company comprising OBII alumni, this program is a proven pathway to a professional ballet career.

Summer Intensive Audition Tour
Orlando Ballet School’s Summer Intensive Audition Tour begins in January and visits varying locations across the country, ending in late February. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
Company Audition Tour
Orlando Ballet, a nationally recognized company, offers a rich and diverse repertoire by celebrated choreographers. Interested dancers may register for upcoming audition opportunities, in alignment with International Audition Guidelines.
Submit Audition Video
Orlando Ballet welcomes video audition submissions from dancers interested in joining its nationally acclaimed company and performing in a distinguished repertoire of classical and contemporary works.
