Jorden Morris

A visionary in ballet storytelling and entertainment, Jorden Morris brings dynamic leadership and a celebrated choreographic voice to the stage. After a professional dance career, he studied teaching and choreography at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) and theatre arts at NYU.

A visionary in ballet storytelling and entertainment, Jorden Morris brings dynamic leadership and a celebrated choreographic voice to the stage. After a professional dance career, he studied teaching and choreography at Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) and theatre arts at NYU. He trained in French pedagogy at the Paris Opera with Claude Bessy and Serge Golovine and in Russian technique at Boston Ballet with Sergei Berejnoi and Tatiana Terekhova. His first work, The Three Musketeers, premiered at RWB, where he later became Associate School Director. Morris created Peter Pan—RWB’s best-selling production—surpassed only by his international hit Moulin Rouge – The Ballet. He choreographed for Queen Elizabeth II and created the children's TV series The Toy Castle, in which he also starred. His additional RWB works include The Doorway (inspired by Leonard Cohen) and MOA (inspired by Egon Schiele). His Peter Pan has been staged by RWB, Pittsburgh Ballet and Nevada Ballet Theatre. In 2019, Pittsburgh Ballet premiered his The Great Gatsby. After joining Orlando Ballet in 2020 as Artist in Residence, he was named Artistic Director and, in 2023, debuted a reimagined Nutcracker for the company’s 50th anniversary season.

A dynamic force in ballet leadership and artistry, Lisa Thorn Morris joined Orlando Ballet in 2015 and serves as Associate Artistic Director, contributing significantly to the company's artistic growth.

A dynamic force in ballet leadership and artistry, Lisa Thorn Morris joined Orlando Ballet in 2015 and serves as Associate Artistic Director, contributing significantly to the company's artistic growth. She enjoyed a 20-year performance career with Kansas City Ballet, dancing principal roles in works by legendary choreographers such as Alvin Ailey, George Balanchine, Todd Bolender, August Bournonville, Merce Cunningham, Agnes DeMille, Nacho Duato, Ruth Page, Marius Petipa and Twyla Tharp. During her time at Kansas City Ballet, she transitioned into leadership, first as Associate Ballet Mistress, then Ballet Mistress in Residence. Lisa has choreographed for Orlando Ballet, Kansas City Ballet, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, Actors Theatre of Kansas City and Kansas City Youth Ballet. Her choreographic work earned her the title of Emerging Choreographer at the 2005 Craft of Choreography Conference. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the University of Missouri, where she graduated summa cum laude and served as an adjunct professor at the Conservatory of Music and Dance.

A bold creative voice and dynamic performer, Heath Gill has built a multifaceted career as a dancer, choreographer and leader in the ballet world.

A bold creative voice and dynamic performer, Heath Gill has built a multifaceted career as a dancer, choreographer and leader in the ballet world. He has performed featured roles in works by renowned choreographers including John McFall, Jorden Morris, Christopher Wheeldon, James Kudelka, Twyla Tharp, David Bintley, Jean-Christophe Maillot, Jorma Elo, Val Caniparoli, Helen Pickett, Liam Scarlett, Jiří Kylián, Alexander Ekman, Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Michael Pink and Ohad Naharin. Celebrated for his artistry, Heath was named one of ArtsATL’s “30 Under 30” and Dance Magazine’s “25 to Watch.” In 2017, he co-founded Terminus Modern Ballet Theatre in Atlanta, serving as Board Member, Production Director and Resident Choreographer. His full-length works earned acclaim, including Marley Was Dead, To Begin With, named “Best Dance Production of 2020” by ArtsATL. Since joining Orlando Ballet, he has created original works including Confronting Genius, The Next Big Thing and Memento. Now serving as Rehearsal Director, Heath is passionate about coaching and inspiring the next generation of dancers.

John Abenanty

John Abenanty

Originally from New York, John Abenanty began his ballet training through the Brooklyn Ballet School’s outreach program, which introduced professional instruction into public schools. He later graduated from The Harid Conservatory and went on to perform professionally as a soloist with Columbia Classical Ballet in South Carolina and as a guest soloist with the State Ballet of Georgia in Tbilisi. John made history as the first American principal dancer with the Sofia National Opera and Ballet. His repertoire includes leading roles such as Albrecht and Peasant Pas de Deux in Giselle, Matthew in Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet, Dracula in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Conrad and Lankendem in Le Corsaire, Basilio in Don Quixote, Cavalier and Snow Prince in The Nutcracker, Zuniga in Carmen, and Gurn in La Sylphide. He is a laureate of the 2018 Varna International Ballet Competition and a 2023 finalist at the USA International Ballet Competition.

Charlotte Anub

Charlotte Anub

Charlotte Anub grew up in New York and began her ballet training at New York Theatre Ballet School under the direction of Diana Byer. At age 14, she became an apprentice with New York Theatre Ballet, performing works by José Limón, Antony Tudor, Merce Cunningham, and James Whiteside. At 17, she joined the Professional Division at Pacific Northwest Ballet under Peter Boal, where she danced in George Balanchine’s The Four Temperaments and The Nutcracker, among other repertory. Charlotte is thrilled to begin her first season with Orlando Ballet for the 2025–26 season.

Originally from England, Cameron Bailey began ballet at age three and progressed through the Royal Ballet’s junior associate program before joining Elmhurst Ballet School at age 11 under the artistic direction of Robert Parker. While at Elmhurst, he performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet in The Nutcracker and The Prince of the Pagodas. Under the guidance of David Yow, Cameron represented the UK at the 2017 Cecchetti International Ballet Competition in Florence, where he was awarded a scholarship with Oklahoma City Ballet. At 16, he joined English National Ballet School under Viviana Durante and graduated in 2021 with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Classical Ballet and Dance Performance. He was awarded the graduate school prize for his dance film dissertation, “Exitium Sui.” Cameron joined Orlando Ballet as a member of OBII, performing in Jorden Morris’s The Great Gatsby and Heath Gill’s “The Next Big Thing.” His company repertoire includes Michael Pink’s Dracula, Morris’s Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire.

Bernardo Bentacor

Bernardo Betancor, of British and Spanish nationality, was raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. He began dancing at the age of four and, in 2015, moved to Madrid to train under Victor Ullate. In 2017, he joined The Washington School of Ballet, followed by studies at English National Ballet School in London, where he performed alongside ENB and earned a Level 6 Diploma in Dance and Choreography from Trinity College London in 2020. His training includes summer programs with The Royal Ballet School, San Francisco Ballet School, Académie de Danse de Biarritz, IB Stage Barcelona, and mentorship with Carmen and Anatol Yanowsky. Bernardo danced with Dortmund Ballet’s NRW Junior Company before pursuing intensive training with Taina Morales and freelancing with English National Ballet for The Nutcracker. In 2022, he joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Montreal, performing for three seasons in works such as Jiří Kylián’s Sechs Tänze, Mauro Bigonzetti’s Cantata, and Jean Grand-Maître’s Continuum, where he originated the role of the Archangel.
Outside of performance, Bernardo is pursuing a degree in Art History and English Language through the Open University. He is also the founder of Latitude 28° Dance Productions, a creative initiative dedicated to promoting ballet and dance in his native Canary Islands.

Savannah Campbell

Savannah Campbell

Originally from Illinois, Savannah relocated to Florida at the age of twelve and currently resides in Wilbur by the Sea. Her early training included two years in the Academy program at Orlando Ballet School (OBS), after which she joined Sarasota Ballet as a trainee. Savannah progressed through the ranks, spending two years in the studio company before being promoted to the main company.
Her career highlights include performing one of the principal roles in Renato Paroni’s Rococo during the most recent season, as well as dancing in numerous works by George Balanchine, including Serenade, Who Cares?, and Western Symphony. In addition to her ballet career, Savannah is a certified yoga instructor and is currently seeking opportunities to teach in the Orlando area.

Israel Zavaleta Escobedo

Israel Zavaleta Escobedo

Originally from Mexico, Israel Zavaleta Escobedo began his dance journey with his family’s company, Ballet Folklórico Texcoco de Noé Zavaleta, before taking his first ballet class at age 10. He trained at Academia de la Danza Mexicana and attended summer programs at Joffrey Ballet and Idyllwild Arts Academy. Israel has received numerous honors at international competitions, including second place at both International Dance Competition Attitude and Concurso Nacional de Ballet Infantil y Juvenil de México, and first place at the Youth America Grand Prix semi-finals in Tampa. He also competed at the USA International Ballet Competition in Jackson and the International Ballet and Choreography Competition in China. Israel is American Ballet Theatre–certified and teaches Men’s Ballet for OBII, Trainees, and Academy students at Orlando Ballet School. His principal roles include Mowgli in Toni Pimble’s The Jungle Book, Jonathan Harker in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Nick Carraway in Jorden Morris’s The Great Gatsby, and Toulouse-Lautrec in Moulin Rouge® – The Ballet.

Maya Fazzari

Maya Fazzari

Originally from Canada, Maya Fazzari received her training at Canada’s National Ballet School, where she completed both the professional ballet program and the school’s post-graduate program. During her post-graduate studies, she performed with the National Ballet of Canada, gaining valuable professional stage experience. Maya joined Orlando Ballet’s second company (OBII) in 2023, and this marks her second season as a company dancer with Orlando Ballet.

Joshua Fickling

Joshua Fickling

Joshua Fickling hails from Meltham, England, where he began his training from age three at the Bernadette Heys School of Theatre Dance. He later continued his studies at The Royal Ballet School for three years and with Mentors in Ballet Education, under the direction of Lynsey and Simon Kidd, for a further six years. During these six years he found a love for The Cecchetti ballet method, tutored by Gillian Hurst, earning him both a Diploma in the Enrico Cecchetti Method and a Diploma in Dance Education. He has danced with the likes of The Birmingham Royal Ballet, The McNicol Ballet Collective, and The Sarasota Ballet of Florida before joining Orlando Ballet in 2025. His repertoire includes productions such as Sir David Bintley’s Swan Lake, Sir Frederick Ashton’s Romeo and Juliet, Christopher Wheeldon’s The American, Johan Kobborg’s Napoli and George Balanchine’s Serenade.
When not in the studio, Joshua can usually be found at an airport, either watching or flying planes. He is delighted to be joining Orlando Ballet this season and looks forward to many performances in the future.

Kate Gardinier
Pennsylvania. USA

Kate Gardinier

Originally from Pennsylvania, Kate Gardinier began dancing at age three and went on to train at prestigious summer intensives including Boston Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Canada’s National Ballet School, the School of American Ballet, and Chautauqua. She placed in the Top 12 in both Classical and Contemporary categories at Youth America Grand Prix, earning invitations to the finals. In 2013, Kate performed as Clara in The Nutcracker at Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular. At 16, she was invited to join the Professional Training Program at The Washington School of Ballet, where she performed in The Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and The Nutcracker under Julie Kent’s direction. She joined Orlando Ballet II for the 2021–2022 season and was promoted to the main company in April 2022. Her repertoire includes The Nutcracker, Jungle Book, Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena, and Jorden Morris’s The Great Gatsby. Kate is also an alumna of Orlando Ballet School.

Thomas Gerhardt

Originally from England, Thomas Gerhardt began dancing at age two, training at a local dance school before joining the Royal Ballet School Junior Associate Program. At 11, he entered the Royal Ballet School, performing in The Nutcracker and The Sleeping Beauty. He progressed to the Upper School, working with British choreographer Ashley Page, Carlos Acosta, and dancing with Birmingham Royal Ballet. Thomas is also an Orlando Ballet School alumnus, graduating in 2021.

Originally from California, Kenna Gold moved to Philadelphia at age 15 to train at The Rock School for Dance Education on full scholarship, where she performed lead roles in The Nutcracker and contemporary works. As a trainee with Orlando Ballet, she danced Swanilda in an excerpt from Coppélia and appeared in Robert Hill’s “Requiem.” She has competed and placed at YAGP regionals and earned first place in Ensemble at the New York City finals. Summer training includes programs at American Ballet Theatre, Miami City Ballet, Houston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet Chicago, and Bolshoi Ballet. Since joining Orlando Ballet, she has performed leading roles including the Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Myrtha in Giselle, Daisy in Jorden Morris’ The Great Gatsby, Mina in Michael Pink’s Dracula, and Nathalie in Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet.

Born in South Carolina, Dominique began her training at Ballet Spartanburg before continuing her studies with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Pacific Northwest Ballet. Prior to joining Orlando Ballet, she danced as a trainee with United Ballet Theatre. In 2024, she joined Orlando Ballet’s second company, OBII, and now begins her first season as a Company Member.

Ellie Iannotti

Originally from New Jersey, Ellie Iannotti received her formal ballet training at The Rock School for Dance Education, where she studied for 13 years on scholarship under Bo and Stephanie Spassoff, graduating in 2021. She competed at Youth America Grand Prix, earning the Hope Award and twice winning the Youth Grand Prix at the Philadelphia semifinals. She advanced to the New York City finals five times, placing in the Top 12 as a soloist in 2019. That same year, she was named an ABT National Training Scholar and later attended ABT’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School for the 2021–2022 season on scholarship. Since joining Orlando Ballet, Ellie has performed roles such as Blanche in Annabelle, Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire, and Mome Fromage in Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet.

Growing up in Canada, Hazuki Kishida began her dance training at age six at the Victoria Academy of Ballet. Eager to pursue ballet professionally, she completed school a year early to join the Academy’s Post-Secondary Bridge Program under the direction of Bleiddyn Bellis and Kerry Lynn Turner, graduating in 2022 with a Diploma in Professional Dance. That same year, she joined Orlando Ballet’s second company and performed in mainstage productions including The Nutcracker, Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire. She also danced principal, soloist, and featured roles in the Director’s Choice mixed repertoire program. Hazuki is a three-time British Columbia Provincial Arts Council Scholarship recipient and has earned numerous awards at competitions and festivals. She won first place overall representing her city at the B.C. Provincial Performing Arts Festival and received multiple YAGP honors in classical and contemporary categories, including a full scholarship to the Colorado Ballet Academy Summer Intensive in 2019.

Originally from California, Remy Juliette Loren began her ballet training at Ballet Arte under the guidance of Sara Viale and Erlends Zieminch. She continued her development through trainee positions with Philadelphia Ballet and Joffrey Ballet, performing in productions such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Atonement, and the Gerald Arpino Centennial Celebration. Her repertoire includes works by Christopher Wheeldon, Kathy Marston, and other leading choreographers. Remy has trained at prestigious summer intensives including San Francisco Ballet, American Ballet Theatre in New York, the Royal Ballet School, and Dutch National Ballet. She has earned top placements at Youth America Grand Prix competitions in both classical and contemporary categories, receiving invitations to the Finals.

Sebastian Marriott-Smith

Trained in England, Sebastian Marriott-Smith began ballet at age three and joined the Royal Ballet School’s Junior Associate Program at seven. He performed in Sir Peter Wright’s The Nutcracker with Birmingham Royal Ballet at the O2 Arena, and later at the Royal Opera House while attending the Royal Ballet Lower School. At 15, he entered the Upper School, taking master classes with Royal Ballet principals and performing in Sir Anthony Dowell’s The Sleeping Beauty. He later trained at English National Ballet School and danced in Northern Ballet’s Swan Lake. He performed Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Rendezvous, selected by Viviana Durante, and joined English National Ballet for Tamara Rojo’s Raymonda and Wayne Eagling’s The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum. While with OBII, he has performed in Michael Pink’s Dracula, The Nutcracker, Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet, and as Jeff in Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire.

Charlie Mellor
Cambridgeshire. England

Hailing from England, Charlie Mellor trained at Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, where he earned First Place in the Cecchetti Children’s Award at Sadler’s Wells and was runner-up for the Mabel Ryan Junior Award the following year. He was invited to perform for Dance Power in support of the British Red Cross at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, and later appeared in Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet at the Marlowe Theatre. In 2019, he performed a pas de deux from La Fille Mal Gardée as a finalist in BBC’s Young Dancer of the Year, which aired on BBC Four. A 2022 graduate of Orlando Ballet School, he continues to build on his classical foundation and performance experience.

Hitomi Nakamura

Competing internationally, Hitomi Nakamura took first place in the Senior Category at a ballet competition in Tokyo in 2011 and earned first place in the Ensemble Category at Youth America Grand Prix NYC finals. She trained at Kaneta Kouno Ballet Academy in Japan and Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy. Favorite roles include Cinderella in Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, the Russian Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Giselle, and Daisy Buchanan in Jorden Morris’ The Great Gatsby. Last season, she danced Nathalie in Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet and Lucy in Michael Pink’s Dracula. Hitomi is an Orlando Ballet School alumna, Class of 2014.

Alberto Peñalver
Murcia. Spain

Training began at age eight in Spain, Alberto began studying at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza before continuing at John Cranko Schule in Germany. He then attended the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center and joined the Pacific Northwest Ballet Professional Division program. Alberto danced with Tulsa Ballet II and performed with their main company before becoming a company member with Ballet Arizona, where he appeared in several world premieres. His repertoire includes works by George Balanchine, August Bournonville, Justin Peck, Frederick Ashton, Ib Andersen, Edward Liang, and Peter Boal.

Jack Ragland
South Carolina. USA

A native of South Carolina, Jack trained at South Carolina Christian Dance Theatre and broadened his experience through summer programs at Charlotte Ballet, the University of South Carolina Dance Conservatory, and Pennsylvania Ballet. He was a finalist at the 2021 Youth America Grand Prix and was invited to perform at the Danza in Arte a Pietrasanta Festival in Italy. This marks his first season as a Company Dancer with Orlando Ballet.

Nathan Rowell

Originally from Oregon, Nathan Rowell began his ballet training at age seven and joined Houston Ballet Academy’s Professional Division at 17, studying under Claudio Muñoz and Melissa Bowman. He later trained with Texas Ballet Theatre’s Studio Training Company before joining Orlando Ballet II three seasons ago. His repertoire with Orlando Ballet includes George B. Wilson in Jorden Morris’ The Great Gatsby, Stanley Kowalski in Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire, Toulouse in Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet, and a featured role in Confronting Genius by guest choreographer—and now Rehearsal Director—Heath Gill. He is an Orlando Ballet School alumnus, Class of 2021.

Troy Santulli
Massachusetts. USA

Troy Santulli is a native of Massachusetts and began his training at the age of four with Boston Ballet School under the direction of Peter Stark and Margaret Tracey. He performed in Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker for eleven years, as well as in Nissinen’s Swan Lake and Giselle. Santulli completed his training as a Trainee at Boston Ballet before joining Kansas City Ballet II in 2020. During his time with KCB II, he performed in a diverse range of repertoire, including Lila York’s Celts, Michael Pink’s Dracula, and Tomm Ruud’s Mobile. In 2022, he joined Texas Ballet Theater as an Apprentice under the direction of Tim O’Keefe and Ben Stevenson, O.B.E., where he had the privilege of performing in several of Stevenson’s signature ballets, including Dracula, Bartok, and Alice in Wonderland.
Most recently, Santulli danced as a Company Artist with Milwaukee Ballet, directed by Michael Pink, where he performed in Kenneth Tindall’s Casanova, Pink’s Sleeping Beauty, and Mark Godden’s Carmen, among others. This marks Santulli’s first season with Orlando Ballet.

Renee Shubov

Renee Shubov began her training at the Academy of Dance Arts in New Jersey before moving to Houston at age 14 to study at Houston Ballet Academy. After two years, she was invited to join Houston Ballet II under the direction of Claudio Muñoz, performing in productions with the main company. She joined Orlando Ballet’s second company, Orlando Ballet II, in 2023 and now is in her second season as a Company Dancer with Orlando Ballet.

Sabrina Sierens

Sabrina Sierens

Sabrina Sierens began her dance training at Ann Parsley School of Dance in Michigan before continuing at The Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, where she graduated under the direction of Peter Stark and Stephanie Spassoff. She joined Orlando Ballet’s second company, OBII, in 2023 and now begins her second season as a Company Dancer with Orlando Ballet.

Aria Smith
California. USA

Originally from Southern California, Aria Smith began her ballet training at the Maple Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Charles Maple. At age ten, she moved to Utah to continue training at Ballet West Academy, later joining the professional training program. While there, she performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Divertimento No. 15, Western Symphony, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Walpurgisnacht, along with appearances in Ballet West’s full-length productions. She placed in the Top 12 at YAGP regionals and attended the New York Finals multiple times. Aria has trained at summer intensives with San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Washington Ballet, School of American Ballet, Ballet West, and Orlando Ballet. The son of retired professional ballet dancers, Jaysan Stinnett didn’t begin formal training until age 13—after asking to take lessons himself. He began studying at Thomas Armor Youth Ballet in Miami before continuing at The Harid Conservatory. Over the course of his training, he received full scholarships to summer programs at American Ballet Theatre, School of American Ballet, Ellison Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, San Francisco Ballet, and Houston Ballet. He joined Orlando Ballet’s company four years ago and has since performed a range of roles, with a personal favorite being Albrecht in Giselle during the 2021/2022 Season.
