Orlando Ballet’s enchanting annual favorite, The Nutcracker is a not-to-be-missed holiday tradition. The beloved story of a godfather’s Christmas Eve gift of a toy nutcracker that comes to life and transports Clara to a world of wonder. Patrons are carried along on a magical journey to a world of fantasy and fun complete with the Mouse King, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger.

During this one-hour version of the enchanting annual favorite, Patrons are carried along on a magical journey to a world of fantasy and fun complete with the Mouse King, Sugar Plum Fairy, and Mother Ginger. This performance is specially designed for families of all ages. Patrons can expect a welcoming, supportive environment for people of all abilities to enjoy this live ballet performance. Adjustments to sound and lighting effects, including keeping the house lights dimly on, will be made. COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols
Due to the uncertainties associated with COVID-19, health and safety guidelines are updated on an ongoing basis and are subject to change. The protocols mandated by Dr. Phillips Center are updated based on guidance from federal, state, and local officials, as well as their partner, AdventHealth.
We are working very closely with Dr. Phillips Center and will be monitoring updates on a 30-day rolling basis. At this time, we are offering full refunds for tickets purchased for The Jungle Book prior to Dr. Phillips Center’s health and safety update on September 10th. Orlando Ballet’s mainstage performances are presented in multiple venues with varying health and safety guidelines. Future performances will be evaluated 30 days prior to the performance start date.
