Hana Takeda
Hana started ballet at the age of six at a local ballet school in Tokyo, Japan where she then furthered her training at age of ten with KK International Ballet under Kiyoko Kimura. In 2020, she joined Joffrey Academy of Dance in Chicago under Ashley Wheather, Karin Ellis Wentz, and Christpher Marney where she performed a variation from Raymonda at Chicago Live! She attended a short term intensive at Tanz Academy of Zurich, summer intensives at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and Orlando Ballet.
She received 2nd place at the Japan Ballet competition in 2016.
This is Hana’s first year in OBII.
