Orlando Ballet dancer and choreographer Telmo Moreira from Lisbon, Portugal, has been a popular member of Orlando Ballet since 2011. He remains the only dancer in the world to have won the prestigious Prix de Lausanne twice – once in 2007 and again in 2009. He was awarded a place at the prestigious Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. Then, in 2009, he won a position in ABT II in New York.
Telmo is also a talented choreographer and is creating four works in Orlando Ballet’s Tribute to Harriett: Best of Broadway at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts on Saturday, February 25.
