DAHLIA DENICORE

Dahlia Denicore (Waterford, Virginia) joined Orlando Ballet last season as Apprentice and was thrilled to make her professional debut in the role of Lucy in Michael Pink’s Dracula and then perform Blanche in Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire. Dahlia began her professional ballet training in 2020 at the San Francisco Ballet School after dancing through high school at the Loudoun School of Ballet in her native Virginia, where she fell in love with the artistry and storytelling magic of ballet. She also completed a summer intensive with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, where Tommie O’Hanlon set an emotional piece on her titled Unsteady. Between 2017 and 2020, Dahlia received numerous awards from Youth America Grand Prix and the New York City Dance Alliance, including a Judge’s invitation to help with ballet choreography in a Broadway show. Shortly after being accepted in Orlando Ballet’s second company, Dahlia was promoted to Apprentice in the main company.
This is Dahlia’s second season with Orlando Ballet.
