Aria Smith

Aria Smith (California, USA) began her ballet training at the Maple Conservatory of Dance under the direction of Charles Maple. At age ten, she moved to Utah to continue training at Ballet West Academy, later joining the professional training program. While there, she performed leading roles in The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Divertimento No. 15, Western Symphony, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Walpurgisnacht, along with appearances in Ballet West’s full-length productions. She placed in the Top 12 at YAGP regionals and attended the New York Finals multiple times. Aria has trained at summer intensives with San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, The Washington Ballet, School of American Ballet, Ballet West, and Orlando Ballet. Outside the studio, she enjoys skiing, surfing, and crocheting. 

This is Aria’s second season with Orlando Ballet.
