1st Year with Orlando Ballet II
Kenna Gold was born in Southern California where she began her dance training. At age 15, she moved to Philadelphia to train at the Rock School for Dance Education on a full scholarship. There, she performed leading roles in the Nutcracker and other contemporary ballets. She competed in YAGP, placing top 12 in regionals and 1st place in ensemble at the NYC finals. She has attended summer programs at ABT, Miami City Ballet, Houston Ballet, the Rock School, Joffrey Chicago, Bolshoi, and Orlando Ballet. She spent one year as a trainee with Orlando Ballet where she danced as Swanilda in an excerpt from Coppelia, Robert Hill’s Requiem, the Nutcracker, and other company and school productions. She is very excited and grateful to be joining OBII for the 19/20 season.
