CAMERON BAILEY

Cameron Bailey (Morecambe, Lancashire, England) began ballet at age three and after progressing through the Royal Ballet junior associate program joined Elmhurst Ballet School at age 11, training under the artistic direction of Robert Parker. There he performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet in The Nutcracker and on national tour in The Prince of the Pagodas. Under the tutelage of David Yow, Cameron represented the UK at the 2017 Cecchetti International Ballet Competition in Florence, Italy, where he was awarded a training scholarship with Oklahoma City Ballet. At 16, he joined English National Ballet School in London, under the artistic direction of Viviana Durante, and graduated in 2021 with a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Classical Ballet and Dance Performance. He was awarded the graduate school prize for his dance film dissertation, “Exitium Sui.”  After graduating, Cameron joined Orlando Ballet as a member of OBII where he performed in Artistic Director Jorden Morris’s Great Gatsby as well as Heath Gill’s “The Next Big Thing.” Cameron has also danced in Michael Pink’s Dracula, Jorden Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa’s A Streetcar Named Desire.

This is Cameron’s second season as a Company Dancer.
