Hitomi Nakamura
Hitomi Nakamura (Tokyo, Japan) has competed around the world including first place in the Senior Category at a ballet competition in Tokyo in 2011 and earned first place in the Ensemble Category at Youth America Grand Prix NYC finals. She trained at Kaneta Kouno Ballet Academy in Japan and Houston Ballet’s Ben Stevenson Academy. Some of her favorite roles include Cinderella in Victoria Morgan’s Cinderella, the Russian Girl in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Giselle in Giselle, and Daisy Buchanan in Jorden Morris’ The Great Gatsby. She’s also danced as Nathalie in Morris’ Moulin Rouge® The Ballet and Lucy in Michael Pink’s Dracula.
