2nd Year with Orlando Ballet II

Vania was born in Lima, Peru. She started her ballet training at the age of 5 at the “Ballet Municipal de Lima”, where she performed in productions such as Le Corsaire, The Nutcracker, and Sleeping Beauty.
At the age of 16 she started dancing with the National Ballet of Peru as an apprentice, performing in their corps de ballet in productions of Carmen and Paquita.

In 2016, she moved to Orlando to become a trainee with Orlando Ballet School, and in 2017 she joined the Orlando Ballet Second Company.

She competed in the Youth America Grand Prix Semi-Finals in Tampa and Boston, placing 3rd in the classical category and top 12 in the contemporary category. She also participated in the YAGP Finals and the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, Mississippi. This is Vania’s second year with Orlando Ballet II.
