About the Nutcracker Tea
Make your family’s trip to see Orlando Ballet’s The Nutcracker even more special by also attending the Nutcracker Tea on Saturday, December 15th at one of our two seating times: 12:30pm – 1:30pm or 1:30pm – 2:30pm at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. We’ve timed it so that you can attend the Tea either after the 11am Family Show or before the 3pm Matinee performance.
Enjoy a delicious assortment of sweet and savory holiday treats and interact with some of the dancers and characters from the performance. The afternoon tea includes the chance to have your family’s photo taken alongside some of The Nutcracker’s iconic characters. A perfect gift for your loved ones.
This event will benefit Orlando Ballet School – Orlando’s internationally recognized and award-winning professional dance academy. To help raise funds and bring some extra holiday cheer, we’ve designed a fun way to purchase last minute gifts. Local businesses have contributed ‘secret treats’ valued at $50 or more that you can ‘purchase’ with a $50 donation during the Tea. This is a great way to get your stocking fillers and support our ability to make dance accessible to every child.
Available for purchase prior to the Tea is a Holly Adler Nutcracker with wrapping personalized by your choice of Clara or the Nutcracker Prince. Surprise a loved one with their very own Nutcracker doll, ordered uniquely for the Nutcracker Tea.
Event tickets are $50 per child and $75 per adult. (Event tickets do not include the cost of performance of The Nutcracker). To purchase your tickets for the performance of The Nutcracker, please visit www.drphillipscenter.org.
We are offering a special table sponsor package for $1,500 (for a total of 8 guests). In addition to enjoying the tea, table sponsors will receive recognition on Nutcracker Tea print and digital ads, website and social media. The children in your party will also receive a Nutcracker with personalized wrapping as our thanks (available for purchase to all guests but included in this package).
There are many volunteer opportunities to assist the Nutcracker Tea Committee in activities leading up to and during the event, including gift wrapping, decorating, planning, guest relations, and more.
