A tale to melt the heart

A colorful retelling of Rudyard Kipling’s stories with whimsical costumes, vibrant sets, and music that conjures the magic of young Mowgli’s life in the jungle. Audiences of all ages will delight in the spirited adventures of Mowgli as he befriends Baloo the Bear and encounters the larger-than-life Shere Khan and Kaa. This storybook ballet with choreography by Toni Pimble is based on the short stories, written by Rudyard Kipling and the many famed The Jungle Book movies.


The Jungle Book Family & Sensory Friendly Show

Catch this condensed one-hour performance of Toni Pimble’s whimsical storybook ballet. This performance is specially designed for families of all ages. Patrons can expect a welcoming, supportive environment for people of all abilities to enjoy the spirited adventures of Mowgli in this live ballet performance. COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols 

Due to the uncertainties associated with COVID-19, health and safety guidelines are updated on an ongoing basis and are subject to change. The protocols mandated by Dr. Phillips Center are updated based on guidance from federal, state, and local officials, as well as their partner, AdventHealth.

We are working very closely with Dr. Phillips Center and will be monitoring updates on a 30-day rolling basis. At this time, we are offering full refunds for tickets purchased for The Jungle Book prior to Dr. Phillips Center’s health and safety update on September 10th. Orlando Ballet’s mainstage performances are presented in multiple venues with varying health and safety guidelines. Future performances will be evaluated 30 days prior to the performance start date.
