Nick Patterson (USA)
Joined Orlando Ballet in 2015
Nick started ballet when he was eight years old at the Richmond Ballet. After training at the school for seven years, he moved to Boston to join Boston Ballet’s Pre-Professional Program. After a year, he was invited to join Boston Ballet’s Trainee Program. As a trainee, Nick performed roles in Balanchine’s Coppelia, Florence Clerk’s La Bayadere, Ashton’s Cinderella, Balanchine’s Scotch Symphony, Jerome Robbins’ Fanfare, Nissinen’s Swan Lake, and Peter Martins’ Les Gentilhommes. After Nick spent two years in the trainee program, he was offered an Apprentice position in the company while attending Orlando Ballet School’s Summer Intensive. After a Year as an Apprentice, Nick was promoted to the Main Company. With Orlando Ballet, Nick has performed roles in Fernando Bujones’ Raymonda, American Ballet Theater’s Don-Quixote, Arcadian Broad’s Beauty and the Beast, Michael Pink’s Dracula, Jerome Robbins’ Fancy Free, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Val Caniparoli’s A Cinderella Story, Robert Hill’s Giselle, Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker. This is Nick’s fourth season with the company.
