Anna Ciriano (Spain)
Joined Orlando Ballet in 2018
Anna Ciriano started dancing at the age of 3 and decided to pursue a professional career at the age of 12. In 2010, she joined a vocational school in Barcelona, Institut del Teatre. After she graduated in 2014, she moved to London to join the English National Ballet school where she had the chance to perform pieces from Jiri Kylian including Evening songs and Pas de Dans by Mats Ek. She also danced the role of Aurora in a children’s version of Sleeping Beauty choreographed by George Williamson in a National tour around the UK. As a student at ENBS, she had the opportunity to perform in Cinderella with Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Nutcracker with English National Ballet. In 2017, she danced for 3 months with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, performing David Bintley’s Aladdin and Concerto by Kenneth MacMillan, going on to then join English National Ballet for their productions of The Nutcracker and La Sylphide. This will be her first season with Orlando Ballet.
