Albjon Gjorllaku (UK)
Joined Orlando Ballet in 2017
Albjon Gjorllaku was born in London and began his ballet training at age 8, through the Royal Opera House Chance to Dance Project in London.
At 9 he joined The Royal Ballet School Junior Associates program and at 11 proceeded to The Royal Ballet School. He completed the full 8 years of training at The Royal Ballet School at both the Lower School: White Lodge and the Upper School.
He has performed with Birmingham Royal Ballet and The Royal Ballet in productions such as The Nutcracker, Anastasia, Ondine and Sleeping Beauty.
He was a finalist of the USA IBC in Jackson, MS in year 2018 as the only British competitor. He joined Orlando Ballet as an apprentice in 2017, and this will be his first season as a full Company Dancer.
