The Core Group Takes on Ragnar Race to Support Come Dance With Us!

This November 11th and 12th, the Core Real Estate Group is running the Ragnar Race, from Melbourne to South Beach.

The Core Group has named the Come Dance with Us! Program as its official charity.

What is Come Dance With Us?

This inspiring program has given Orlando Ballet a fresh opportunity to serve more children through a continued partnership with Nemours Children’s Hospital and Orlando Health. This workshop, now in its second year, became a reality because of the love and determination of one mother reaching out to Orlando Ballet.  Anne-Marie Wurzel, Realtor with The Core Real Estate Group, is the program’s community ambassador and founding parent. Come Dance With Us! has brought together Orlando Ballet’s professional dancers, health experts, and precious children and given them all the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and experience dance in a beautiful new way.

Through this program, Orlando Ballet School Director Deirdre Miles Burger will work with company dancers Ashley Baszto, Marta Gongas, and Taylor Sambola to create two workshops for participants from three to six years of age. Participating healthcare professionals are an integral part of this process providing the dancers with insight on how to design the workshops around the unique needs of each child.

At the end of the second workshop, the children will get to showcase the choreography they have learned. Their experience will conclude with a family trip to the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts to see their dance instructors dance in Orlando Ballet’s main stage production of The NutcrackerClick here to learn more.
