Joined Orlando Ballet in 2017


Sayaka began her training at IDI ballet studio in Hiroshima, Japan. At 15 years old she moved to England and continued her ballet training at Central School of Ballet in London, where she graduated with a BFA in 2015 with first class honors. She then joined Orlando Ballet as a trainee in 2015 and the following year she joined Orlando Ballet II, where she had the opportunity to dance alongside the main company. Sayaka was a category finalist in BBC Younger Dancer 2015. Sayaka and her partner won the silver medal at World Ballet Competition USA 2017 in the pas de duex division. Sayaka was a guest artist at Absolute Dance Performing Arts, in 2016, where she performed Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker. This is Sayaka’s first season with Orlando Ballet.
