About the 18-19 Season Opening Gala

Join Orlando Ballet on Saturday, October 13th for the signature fundraising event of the 18-19 Season and the 7:30pm performance of Carmina Burana at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The evening will honor the legacy of Harriett Lake, the Angel of the Ballet. Guests will enjoy a 6:00pm pre-reception including drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres, the 7:30pm performance of Carmina Buranaa, followed by the seated dinner celebration at 9:00pm.

 

Dress

Pink or black tie optional (glamour with any amount of pink encouraged in Harriett’s honor)

 

What This Event Will Benefit

The 18-19 Season Opening Gala will benefit Orlando Ballet, the only professional resident ballet company in Central Florida that provides a complete season of full length ballets, new works, and non-traditional programs. Since 1974, the Ballet has endeavored to meet the interests of traditional patrons and inspire new audiences to embrace the art of dance.

Artistic Director, Robert Hill’s vision is to make ballet relevant to today’s audiences. The company adheres to its mission to entertain, educate and enrich through the highest quality of dance. The company, through its artistic productions, dance education at Orlando Ballet School, and community enrichment programs, works to instill appreciation of the art of dance, celebrate the joy of dance and revel in the power of dance.

 

Single Gala Tickets

Admission for a single gala guest is $500. Single tickets include admission to the reception and 18-19 Season Opening Gala. Single Gala Ticket does not include cost of Carmina Burana performance (separate purchase). Carmina Burana Tickets

Entry to the performance of Carmina Burana on Saturday, October 13th at 7:30 pm requires a separate ticket purchase for single ticket buyers. Preferred seating will be held for attendees of the seated portion of the Season Opening Gala and will be available for purchase until Friday, September 28th. Preferred seating is limited, so please book early to ensure the best availability.

Note: Tickets purchased via subscription may be exchanged for the Saturday evening performance. Specific seat selection based upon availability. To exchange your subscription tickets please contact the Orlando Ballet Box Office at 408-418-9828 (exchanges are not available through the Dr. Phillips Center Box Office).

 

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship opportunities range from $5,000 to $50,000 and include a variety of benefits. Sponsorships include admittance to the reception, gala, and performance of Carmina Burana. Gala Presenting Sponsor – $50,000 (Exclusive) or Co-Presenting (2) @ $25,000

  • Admission for twenty (20) guests to reception and Season Opening Gala plus twenty (20) tickets to the Saturday, October 13th performance of Carmina Burana at 7:30 PM (ten (10) guests are allotted for each co-presenting sponsor).
  • Two reserved tables at the Season Opening Gala seated dinner.
  • Premium recognition on print and media ads.
  • Recognition on website and social media advertising, and event signage where available.
  • Recognition on Orlando Ballet’s website and printed programs.

 

Gala Event Sponsor – $10,000

  • Admission for ten (10) guests to reception and Season Opening Gala plus ten (10) tickets to the Saturday, October 13th performance of Carmina Burana at 7:30 PM
  • Reserved table at the Season Opening Gala seated dinner.
  • Recognition on print and media ads.
  • Recognition on website and social media advertising, and event signage where available.

Gala Table Sponsor – $5,000

  • Admission for ten (10) guests to reception and Season Opening Gala plus ten (10) tickets to the Saturday, October 13th performance of Carmina Burana at 7:30 PM.

  • Recognition on website and social media advertising, and event signage where available.

Additional Opportunities to Support Orlando Ballet

To raise additional funds, organizations from around the community, including Bloomingdale’s, Hand and Stone Windermere, and the Ritz Carlton, have donated secret “treats” valued at $100 or more. Guests who make a $100 contribution will take home an exciting gift to keep or share.

Gala Tickets: $375 per gala ticket may be claimed as tax-deductible.

Sponsors: Fair market value per guest (performance and gala) is $225. Balance may be claimed as tax-deductible.

Proceeds will benefit Orlando Ballet. Orlando Ballet is a 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization.
